Papers 2 for Mac  

Papers is a software program that allows you to search for, automatically retrieve, organize, annotate, and read PDFs on your computer. PDFs already saved on your computer may be imported into Papers. Conduct searches of PubMed, Web of Science, Google Scholar, and other databases directly through the program and Papers will find and download the full-text when available.   Papers 2 can also be used to insert citations into manuscripts.

Papers 2 licenses are $79, but offes a 40% discount to students.

Configure Papers 2 to use the UW Library's EZProxy service. 

1.  Under the Preferences menu, select Access and choose University of Washington from the drop down menu to set the Library Proxy.

2.  Library Website URL:  Enter http://hsl.uw.edu and check the box for "Go to this page when Papers is started"
